Below are FAQs, Tips, News, and Articles to keep you informed about our business. If there is something you would like us to cover that isn't below, send us a message and we may be able to add it.
Which of our fragrance / scent options give you the best value? Which is the longest lasting? This article aims to help explain our scent products in depth.
Cardboard Fresheners:
Cardboard style air fresheners are a great way to get long lasting scent. The cardboard is specifically designed to slowly diffuse the scent into the air. We stock a couple of different brands of these freshners in a variety of great scents. Is there a specific scent you want us to carry? Send us a message and let us know!
Tips:
Use the package - A lot of customers don't realize that the plastic wraper should be used to slow down diffusion and maximize product usefulness. As an example, on Little Trees, you will notice that the perforated slits in the top of the package make a V shape. Tear a V shaped hole in the package, and pull the little tree up to the first week mark on the back of the package. This controls the surface area of the cardboard exposed to the air, and keeps the entire tree from drying out rapidly. Week by week, keep pulling the wrapper down to the next notch. The little tree will last 8 weeks if you follow this!
Fragrance Sprays
Our fragrance machines offer many great scents. Our fragrance sprays have a built in odor eliminator that is effective with all types of bad odors, but is most effective on bad organic odors (pet urine, mildew, rotting vegetables, etc). The scent from our spray fragrance will not stick around as long as our little trees. The fragrance spray will evaporate and disappear after about a week.
Tips:
Spray it out of sight - We recommend spraying the fragrance under the seat and around the edges underneath your floor mats. Because these areas are not in direct sunlight, the spray will evaporate more slowly, and the scent will last longer.
Spray spots directly - It has happened to most of us at least once. You load the groceries into the car, the bag falls over on the way home, and a rogue potato rolls under the seat. It just sits there quietly rotting, until one day you open the door and smell the horrid smell. After you've thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned the area, spray our fragrance directly on the spot to cancel out the stinky smells.
Rejuvenate air fresheners - Cardboard, ceramic, and gel air fresheners are designed to control the release of fragrance, why not get a little more use out of it before sending it off to the landfill. Before you spray the other areas of your car, just place an old air freshener on your floor mat, and make a couple of passes over it with the fragrance sprayer. Don't saturate it too much and you'll probably want to throw it away after doing this a few times.
